Join Us This Christmas

Christmas time is here. It’s the most wonderful time of the year…kids jingle belling…friends come to call…parties to be hosted…caroling out in the snow. Christmas is a special time, filled with opportunities to celebrate with friends and family. Yet, in all of the celebrating, there are many overwhelmed, hopeless, or even grieving loss. Perhaps you’re just not feeling the Christmas cheer and struggling as Christmas comes around this year. Wherever you find yourself—looking for something fun for your kids or looking for some hope—we would love for you to join us this Christmas.

Join Us on Sundays @ 4:30 PM

Currently, we are meeting on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 PM at Crossroads Community Baptist Church. During service, kids classes will be provided for kindergarten through 5th grade. In the new year, we are anticipating returning to morning services. If you are interested in staying connected and receiving more information, please sign up to receive our TCC Weekly News.

Worship With Us on Christmas Eve from 4-5 PM

Worship with us the Christmas Eve from 4-5 pm. Just like the angels at Jesus’ birth, we will join in singing praises to our Savior King—Jesus Christ. We will sing Christmas hymns and enjoy songs from our kids choir. We will also have a story time for kids and a brief reflection on how Christ is our hope in a weary world. We would love for you to join us.

Hope For A Weary World - An Advent Series on Ruth

This Advent season we will look at the story behind Christmas. This story can be found in the book of Ruth. It is a short book the shows the hidden hand of God at work providentially in the midst of a dark and weary world to bring about hope and redemption. Whether you feel broken by your circumstances or your sin, Ruth reminds us that there is hope to be found in God who does not forget His promises and works to accomplish our redemption. So it was in the birth of Jesus Christ. God keeps His promises and comes to accomplish our redemption Himself. In a weary world and our oft-filled weary lives, He is there and He is our hope.

Leading Your Family Through Advent (Blog Post w/Resources)

Advent is intended to be more than candles lit on Sunday mornings or chocolates to be eaten daily (though I’m a big fan of any excuse to eat a piece of chocolate). It is meant to be a heart-preparation… a time of reflection, reading, prayer and worship. As Joy to the World says, “let every heart prepare Him room.”
