MICHAEL GUYER
Lead Pastor
Michael started following Jesus when he was a teenager. Before starting Treasuring Christ Church, Michael served in various roles within the church, including missions, student ministry and college ministry. Michael is married to Emily, and they have four children Amelia, John, Caroline and Graham. Michael loves serving alongside Emily, who oversees Kids Ministry and Women’s Discipleship for Treasuring Christ Church. In addition to hanging out with his family, Michael loves a good cup of Ethiopian coffee, anything with peanut butter, and just about every sport. His greatest desire is to see Jesus treasured above all things and His church established right here in Ann Arbor and to the ends of the earth.
CHRIS WOODS
Elder
Chris was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in a small town just outside the city. He trusted Christ at a young age however in his college years, his walk with the Lord grew dramatically. Chris is married to Amelia, and they have five children- Lanie Beth, Lila Kate, Ellie Rose, Hudson and Tucker. Chris graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, served as a full-time youth pastor and is now working and serving TCC bi-vocationally. Chris has a passion for gospel-centered discipleship as well as helping others grow in their love for the local church.
MIKE LUGINBILL Elder
Mike was saved later in life while working as an engineer. He grew up in Troy, MI with a love for running, adventure, and good grades. God gave him over to his selfish, sinful desires and opened the eyes of his heart to trust in Jesus, the only true, lasting, and satisfying treasure. He is undeservedly married to Kate and father to Ruth, Grace, and Esther. Mike graduated from seminary at Liberty University and is still employed as an engineer. Mike longs to see lives transformed more and more by the gospel at TCC, homes, workplaces, and the local nations.

NOAH BELLERS Interim Worship Director
Noah was born in raised in the Ann Arbor area, and devoted his life to serving Jesus at 19 years old. Noah is married to Danielle, and together they have two children; Eleanor and Adeline. Noah has been involved with worship ministry for 10 years, and loves to lead people to worship Jesus through singing. Noah and Danielle lived in Arizona for five years, before moving back to Michigan in 2021. Noah loves being a husband and father to two girls, as well as playing guitar and singing with Danielle, disc golfing, crocheting, taking long family walks in the woods, and a variety of miscellaneous hobbies.
ALYSSA POOLE
Generation LINK and Women’s Discipleship Director
Alyssa came to know Jesus personally the summer after high school and it has been her greatest joy to know and follow Him since. Before serving with Treasuring Christ Church, Alyssa served three years at Crosspoint Church as a Generation Link resident working with college students at Clemson University. It is at Crosspoint where she developed a love for college students and the Generation Link program as well as finished her Masters of Christian Studies. In addition, Alyssa loves to explore the outdoors through hiking and backpacking. She also loves to spend time with people watching movies, playing volleyball, and cards.
EMILY GUYER
Director of Kids Ministry
Emily is married to Michael and is a mom to four kids: Amelia, John, Caroline, and Graham. She loves partnering with parents in discipling their children. Emily is happiest when she is with her family, sitting in a trendy coffee shop, traveling, or when she has sand between her toes at Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
Generation LINK Residents
AUSTIN SEGAR Church Planting Resident
Austin was born just outside of Detroit and grew up moving around the Midwest. He began following Jesus at a young age and has been growing in his love for God ever since. Before serving with Treasuring Christ Church, Austin served in youth ministry for five years in California and Ohio. Austin is married to Taylor, and they have one daughter, Leighton. Austin loves spending time with his family, watching and playing sports, and exploring cities with good food. His greatest desire is to help others love Jesus and serve the church.
BENJAMIN TEWARI Pastoral + Counseling Resident
Benjamin was born and raised in Ann Arbor. He went to University of Michigan and was a Software Engineer for 15 years before feeling called to ministry. He currently is pursuing his MDiv at Reformed Theological Seminary. He is married to Rachel and has three kids - Peter, Luke and Jack. He loves serving the Church, anything that involves talking about Jesus and the Bible, and serving God's people through biblical counseling. If he's not in Ann Arbor, he's probably hanging out somewhere up north with his family on one of the great lakes.
JOHN GIULIANI International + Outreach Resident
John started following Jesus while in high school, and he continues to rejoice in the free gift of forgiveness and relationship with the Lord. John is happily married to Piper, whom he met while studying at Clemson University. John served in college ministry as a Generation LINK resident at Crosspoint Church, and he is continuing his residency while working towards a Masters in Christian Ministry. John enjoys playing just about any sport that allows him to be outside. He also enjoys writing, drawing, and traveling.
PIPER GIULIANI Kids Ministry Resident
Piper first trusted in Christ after hearing and understanding the gospel at a young age. It was through kids ministry programs at her local church that Piper was saved, and because of that, the Lord has given her a passion for kids ministry. She served for one year at Crosspoint Church in Clemson as a Student Ministry Generation-LINK Resident, and she is excited to continue her residency program at Treasuring Christ Church. She is married to John Giuliani. Some of their favorite things to do together are cooking and visiting National Parks. Piper loves extra sugary coffee, card games, and trips to the zoo. Piper is currently working towards her Masters in Christian Ministry.
