Women’s Book Club
Reading good books together to help us live life alongside one another…
This year, we recognize your capacity to do a lot “extra” in life is limited. We are offering a simple stream of encouragement, learning, and community-building through our Book Club! We would love for you to join us as we read great books together over the course of the year.
The format is simple. We will release the book we are reading, ask you to sign up, and then you will have roughly 6-8 weeks (depending on the length of the book) to read the book at your own pace. On a set date, we will meet to discuss the book and share our thoughts and reflections.
Spring 2024 Book Clubs
This spring, we are actually going to do two book clubs. We decided that these two books were too good to not give you the opportunity to be a part of both!
We are excited to announce that the first book up is You are a Theologian by Jen Wilkin and J.T. English. In You are a Theologian, Wilkin and English lay a theological foundation for the Christian faith. They explain that everyone is a theologian whether they know it or not. We all have thoughts and beliefs about who God is so let's make them the right thoughts. They welcome you into the world of theology by showing its importance to our walks of faith.
We choose this book because we have been working through the theme Alongside this year in Women's Discipleship. We have been exploring the topics of mentoring and discipleship. What does it look like practically for us to walk alongside one another and help each other become more like Jesus? In our recent study of Titus, we saw that the content of our discipleship should be the sound doctrine of the message of the gospel. You are a Theological lays out the foundation for this sound doctrine that we are to teach others as we mentor and disciple them.
We would love for you to join us as we read this book over the next six weeks! Please purchase your book and sign up below!

The second book we are doing is called The Air We Breathe by Glen Scrivener. In this book Scrivener, shows that our modern values that are seemingly obvious, natural, and universal are actually based in the Christian faith. He shows how these values have shaped the world and our culture today.
We choose this book because we know that part of discipleship is walking alongside not just those in the church but also those outside the church. We know that it can often be difficult to know how to articulate the truths of Christianity with those outside of the church. This book will help shape the way we can share the truths of Christianity as we walk alongside one another.
We hope this book is an encouragement and refreshment to your soul. Please join us as we read this as our second book club! Please purchase the book and sign up below!
